Scandinavian Copper Development Association

SCDA is a non-profit association of producers and fabricators of copper and copper alloys in the Nordic countries. The association is registered in Sweden and it has offices in Sweden and in Finland. It is part of the International Copper Association and the European Copper Institute.

The goal of SCDA is to improve the positive image of copper and to contribute to its usage.

SCDA participates in regulatory affairs that concern copper or its alloys, participates metal and construction products industries' common interest groups, shares correct information about copper and its uses and health and environmental questions in all possible connections. SCDA operates as a link between its member companies and parent associations. SCDA participates the public debate about copper and aims at correcting misconceptions.
